Dear friends and allies --

In this email, I want to share with all of you my deep gratitude for the Goddess Book Blessing event -- for those who were there at the gathering, those who were there in spirit, and those who are just interested.

The gathering was such a beautiful experience for me. It's just what I wanted it to be -- and more, because of what others brought to it. I am grateful both for people's cheerful assistance with the logistics -- and for the unique magic each wove into the overall tapestry. We truly created this together.

My vision for the event was beyond the book. I wanted it to be a chance for us all to dip into sacred waters. To connect with and honor the divinity in our core and the magic in our world. To be in a circle big enough to include all that we are -- even those parts that are skeptical, unsure, or not confident. To just feel the divine flowing through us all, together and shared. I think many of us yearn for that in our daily lives.

The sacred divine is the place from which this story emerged, and I think the real gift that it offers to people. So I wanted the book to be born and enter the world from those waters.

Still, to imagine it is one thing -- but to experience it is quite another. It was very thrilling. And I'm delighted that the others there experienced this as well. They said it, and I could feel it. It was so beautiful!

And what was even more amazing for me was to hear people share their appreciation and good wishes for the book into the circle. It was so moving to hear people's reflection on my journey to here, and their prayers that the book would travel widely and to all the people who needed it. How amazing to have my book and my vision held in other people's hearts. Wonderful!

So I am grateful for each person who came and gave their unique offerings to the event and to the circle.

I also want to specifically thank the people who helped me with the logistics of putting on the event. This allowed it all to run so smoothly and gracefully. So I want to thank Paula Pearce and Russ Kellner for helping with setup (and joining me in blessing the room beforehand). Thank you also to Jim Gleaves, for bringing a cooler with ice and helping Paula lay out my food offerings. And thank you to Marc Hirschman, for bringing three Goddess posters to enhance the room, and for laying out the table display of books, greeting cards, matted artwork, and postcards. Beautiful!

I also want to thank Sherrie Lovler, for cheerfully welcoming everyone into the room and orienting them to the room's offerings.

And I want to thank Petra Gordon, who handled the book sales and pre-orders with such delightful precision and sweetness.

As the event started, I watched the room, humming with such incredibly sweet people, working together, figuring things out, making it beautiful -- and I just was so touched. I felt so supported. And it freed me to do what I needed to do -- giving overall direction, making decisions, and being there to connect with each person in a calm and centered way.

I'm still being filled up by the experience. I want to embed it into my bones, into my cells, into my future. It's been such a long journey to get here, overcoming many challenges. I am so happy to be here today.

I hope that you've enjoyed my recounting of the experience.

And I've enclosed a link to some event pictures below. Enjoy!

And now my baby book happily enters the world. Yay!

For those who are interested in getting copies of the Goddess book -- it's available for sale on my website. Also there are greeting cards from the book's artwork. You can buy by credit card online, or by check. More information is on the site.

I also have more surprises coming for you soon. And I'm getting my big book order in mid-September, which will lead to more fun activities then.

Again, thank you so much to everyone for your help with this event -- and with the entire book process! I feel incredibly blessed.

Many blessings to all --

ABOUT THE STORY IN THE BOOK

"The Goddess Who Forgot That She Was a Goddess"

Once upon a time there was a goddess who forgot that she was a goddess. (It's hard to believe, but it's true!)

She lived up high on a beautiful hill, but didn't see any of it, because of the sadness in her heart.

Until one day she received an unexpected invitation to go into the forest....

You're invited to join the goddess on her adventure, and savor the enchanting story, inspired artwork, and playful and meaningful moments. As the goddess connects with her hidden longings, you might see deeper still, into your own precious core divinity, and find yourself experiencing that place where all hearts joyfully join together in the mystery.

This story from Spirit is for people of all ages -- to soothe our sadness -- and nurture our divine blossoming.

The high-quality hardcover book is beautifully illustrated with original artwork, making it a delightful treat for yourself and a keepsake gift for others.

It indirectly and experientially touches on various themes, including the spiritual nurturing of nature, the empowering transformation of emotional healing, and the blessing of authentic divine connection between people.

It contains no particular religious dogma, making it appropriate for people on a wide range of spiritual paths, or none.

To learn more, or get your very own copy, just go to The Goddess Book webpage.

p.s. It's wonderful to read this story aloud to others -- and have them read it to you!

READER FEEDBACK

"This Goddess story is beyond-words fabulous. I was totally hooked.

"It feels intimate to the level of the soul. The illustrations match the feeling of the words so well. It has transformed me. I want to read it again and again!

"And then to see how the story came through you, to emerge as a true divine experience, gave me goose bumps.

"This story is more than a story to entertain. It gives insight to the core of us as divine creatures and as women. Thank you is an understatement.

"This book is truly a gift to the world."
